The South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is open year-round and has the classic canyon viewpoints. Lodges inside the park book up far ahead, so many visitors stay in Tusayan just outside the gate, or in Williams and Flagstaff, where hotels are more plentiful and cheaper.
